[Relationships go through cycles, through transitions....
.... and the best strategy is to stay ahead of the curve....
Whether you are in a happy relationship, no relationship or a long-term relationship which is seeking a new form…
I am here to support, encourage and guide you to finding new tools, greater communication and authentic flow for your connections.
‘You do not need a problem to be able to work on solutions.’ – Bert Hellinger
I support people to feel seen and heard in their relationships. To untangle the entanglements which keep patterns and fears in place, which prevent movement or true intimacy and connection.
This can take place within the individual or within a partnership….
For example: You may feel stuck within a habitual pattern of only making a ceiling-point of money or a pattern of self-sabotage of holding yourself back. You may keep having the same experience or pattern in relationships despite doing your best to do things differently…
You may love your partner but some things just feel bleeeggh and you’re unsure how to feel the spice and attraction again….
… or you are quite clear that you have had enough of this relationship (especially in its current construct) and you are now looking for the next step…. or at least the how!
Through working with me, my clients uncover the parts which need to be seen and heard in order to find the release and permission to move past these patterns or situations. This can take place within the ancestral family system or within the person and their internalized aspects.
Movement is necessary for balance and alignment to be maintained.
For Couples: Couples go through many “life phases” within a relationship, and often not all of these are handled with the greatest attention…. We are conditioned to take our relationships “for granted” with not too much education about how to connect or understand our partners on the basic human psychology level.
There are many patterns of relating that seep in between the cracks and take root initially unnoticed, until one day we find ourselves having feelings towards the one that we once declared our undying love…. which are let’s say…. unexpected!
In my work with couples I allow the space for them to find the space of harmony within their relationships so that the whole system is served. This takes place in part through a process of education about relationship dynamics and interpersonal dynamics at play within their relationship, including new tools to engage authentic and honest communication and management strategies to work with one another in supportive and holistic ways.
“I would hope that clients see you earlier than I did, when it was rather too late to try and save anything. I think that couples should be seeing marriage counsellors early on in their relationship, to ensure that there is enough communication and understanding in one’s relationship” – a former client
Sometimes….. the relationship chooses to end and take on a new form.
This juncture has historically been met which great pain, suffering, guilt, shame and blame.
I stand for evolving how we view these transitions and how we relate to each other when new decisions have been made which change an established status-quo.
In this place I work as a Family Law Mediator to bring a healthier, balanced, compassionate (and cost-saving) approach to dissolution of a marriage where both parties can be seen and heard in the process and work from a place of agreement and inclusivity.
